Chinese artist Lin Zhipeng, also known as "223", captures a youthful and rebellious spirit in his exceptional photography, which stands out in the context of China's conservative culture. His striking images convey a sense of freshness, sexual playfulness, and carefree attitude, yet they also carry an underlying weight.

The "Grand Amour" project was a collaboration between Lin and curator Anna Mistal. Mistal gave Lin three days to create a series of photographs that would be displayed in the corridors and rooms of the Parisian hotel "Grand Amour". Lin worked with Asian models he found on social media and incorporated props such as fruits, flowers, and doves to create a complex series that explores themes of love, sex, youth, escapism, eroticism, conformity, optimism, and social pressure. The resulting images are rich in ambiguity and depth, showcasing Lin's exceptional talent for visual storytelling.
