Small: 60 x 42 cm HK$ 4,800 + HK$ 1,800 frame
Medium: 80 x 60 cm HK$ 8,800 + HK$ 2,800 frame
Large: 100 x 70 cm HK$ 12,800 + HK$ 3,800 frame
All prints are signed and edition numbered by the artist on a label in the back of the artwork.
Framing option: Black wood veneered aluminium frame with normal clear acrylic front, without white bleed.
Alternatively the prints also present well leaving a white bleed of 5 cm all around the image with a black or natural colored frame. For other framing options please contact us.
Lead time for print only takes one week, for framing an extra week. We can arrange delivery FREE OF CHARGE to most places in Hong Kong.
We can arrange shipping for international orders (as print only rolled in tube) at an additional charge. Taxes/import duties are on behalf of client and are not included.
Wild Concrete
Wild Concrete is a series about resilience of nature in an urban environment. No matter how clever we are at dominating our environment with concrete structures, nature somehow finds its way to fight back. Romain’s images of sprouting flowers and maturing trees on unlikely places demonstrates how our concrete jungle eventually would have to give in to the force of nature, the day we let go.
《石林獨秀》
從不同⾓度來看，環樓而生的植物象徵著這城市和香港人的精神。樹木與混凝⼟融為一體，就像香港人不屈不撓地融入這經濟掛帥的城市一樣不可思議。在現代社會，大家的⽣活確實如樹木和石林般擠在一起，然而⼈與人之間卻不知不覺地築起了一道牆。
⽣長於⽯屎森林中的樹木，同樣反映了人與⼈之間的疏離和對周遭事物的漠不關心。雖然如此，這些幼樹跟⼈類有著同樣的特質：不屈、 勤奮和獨立。即使周遭環境有多嚴峻，樹⽊和⼈人類都能以頑強的適應力和靈活變通的能⼒，爭取向上發展的機會，盼望過更美好的生活。
為了在香港這高樓林立的城市中，尋找一⽚藍天，Romain昂首仰望，創作了《香港印象》系列。今次《石林獨秀》，Romain繼續遊走在石屎森林之間，發掘香港鮮為人知的⼀片綠。
